Any dogs over 50 lbs. can be considered dangerous by some people.  Mistakes happen and frankly most people are not animal behavior experts (at all).  When dogs make mistakes, wether from their own bad judgement or their "handler(s)", it will help you greatly to know the law(s) regarding Dangerous Dogs.

Camille called and wanted us to meet with her and her mom cuz she collected this big box of goodies for all us little pibbles.  Boy did we hit the jackpot!  Soooo much goodies.
Picture

Darla and Champ were so excited to see what was in the goodie box!  Champ said there were some awesome treats and Darla of course found the stash of tennis balls and took one for the ride home.

Thanks Camille and the 5th grade class for all the goodies

Mayday was super excited when he was told the reason we were visiting the pibbles gwamps place is because Pibbles to the Rescue was selected as the charity chosen by a local 5th grader for their end of the school year community outreach presentation project.  We went to the gwamps house to pick up Champ and it ended up that Frankie wanted to come along too!

This blog post will be a little long but very worth it.

This is how our interview with Camille went <3

The pawpaw said the dogs need to get ready for the interview so he was going to get the pups some pre-interview snacks. (Champ always watching him)

RIGHT

All the little pibbles wait patiently for their turn to get a power puppy snack from the pawpaw.
Picture
Camille was very attentive for our interview and we are excited to see what her presentation will look like.  That's right!  We get to see that presentation because we were invited to attend the event at her school.

Heat Stroke.  Know the signs and symptoms.

Just another fabulous educational photo stolen *cough* we mean borrowed  AND linked to our sponsor MID FL APBTA.

IMHO just because a dog is panting does not mean it is thirsty.   Knowing the difference can save your dog's life and also for some obsessive behavior dogs... knowing when your dog does and does not need water can keep them from suffering from water intoxication (the result of drinking too much water in one sitting.)

When out in public, specially out in the heat, monitor your time, space between water breaks and stay in the shade with your pet.  <3
